What oil do you use? You may have to switch to a 10w30.

You must be using the wrong type of oil for your conditions, or you have some major leaks. My '90 Integra with 150k on the odo didn't burn a drop of oil, so there's no reason yours should be. If you're using too low of a viscosity in hot weather, it's going to burn off faster.

3 out of the 5 hatches I've owned came with nice fried rings. Since I wanted to sell the engines, I rebuilt them all, and when you do it (...right) they burn zero oil. None at all. That's how much oil Hondas use.
