Default Cam Gear

Is just scored an AEM cam gear. Would it be worth installing it on my stock cam or should I wait until I get a new cam in the spring?

id wait just because itll make more sense to install it with the cam instead of having to install the gear twice. it wont do much for you at all since the factory cam profiles are optimized for the engine configuration. hell i have a crane st3 in my car and have yet to touch the settings on my cam gear.

yeah i got a megan racing cam gear like a year ago and decided not to run it on a stock cam even on 7 psi of boost because it wont do anything, maybe 1-2 hp increase on the dyno but not a noticible feel driving around
