i cant find any kind of mild cam or any after market cam for the d16y7 NON-vtec!! help please

I had this same problem. Gude and Delta do regrinds of the stock cam and that is what i would recommend. From what i have seen the Delta 272 is the best and it costs about $100 shipped back to you.

delta also makes a stage 2 and 3 regrind for the y7 as well but there between $200-$350. The delta 272 is an awesome cam that makes power to about 7K

what about colt cams? any good? and would it b worth doing a mini-me swap

If you plan on turboing i would shy away from the mini me and just build and boost your stock y7. I have never heard of colt cams so im not much help there.

my buddy keeps telling me that gude is **** and to go with colt cams but you guys r telling me gude. so i dont know which to go with. im leaning towards gude

IMO its not worth it.. i'de jus go with an engine swap and go from a better platform.. but thast my opinion

thats no fun, i want a challenge i want to make something slow fast as hell. how would u feel to b beat by a sohc non vtec. to easy to just swap to b18 or b16 or h22. i want to b different
