cam question

would it be easier to swap the cams instead of the heads from a k20a2 to k20a3

i think the question is...does it really matter?

but IMO taking the had off one car and putting it on another would be easier. because then you dont have to go through all the trouble of pulling the head apart. you just take out the plugs, undo the bolts, put on the other head, bolt it on, wire it back up.

A JDM K20a head is probably your best bet for a little extra "oomph."

Easier, I'd say the cam. Taking off the entire head you have to drain coolant, replace timing belt, and you SHOULD get it resurfaced so it'll seat right. I'm not sure which would give you more power though.

i havent played with the Ks enough yet, but im thinking they wouldnt fit anyway. the Vtec system itself is different. not 100% though.

personally id just get some comptech cams or something. Theyll give u some sort of gain.
