Im trying to make up my mind on some cams...Spoon or Toda? Toda is a lot more expensive but i want the best so price doesnt really matter. Anyone have any opinions?

Prices seem very similar to me.

Personally for that much money you would get alot more power out af a big Skunk2 cam with the springs and retainers and raise the rev limit so you can rev higher.

Between Spoon and Toda, I would probably go Toda, but Spoon = The God of Honda (pretty much), so you really can't go wrong.

Yeah they do. Somewhere in the neighborhood of $1,200, and damn near impossible to find.

what do you want to use the car for? the cams decide the character of the powerband, so it makes a huge difference. if its drag racing, id say skip them both and get a thin head gasket to get the CR up, then do what Leviii said and build the valvetrain and drop in some Skunk2 stage3s. if your wanting to do more auto-x and road tracks, then spring for the Toda Spec Bs and Todas valvetrain. they have WAY more mid range than most other cams out there. actually, either way, a thinner gasket will help. big cams love high compression.

Crower is great widespread stuff, but Spoon, TODA, and Mugen all pretty much know Honda motors better than Honda does, so...
