Whats up Guys Ordering some cams and cam gears soon i have 2 choices on cams im thinking Toda V-tec Killer cams or Type R cams and i dont know what kind or brand i should go with for cam gears. thanks

 

why vtec killer cams?

 

all motor, forced induced or sprayed?

 

for now im N/A but im goin to be building up a LS/V-tec for boost and i was just goin to reuse the cams

 

why on earth would it come down to a choice between type r cams and Toda VKs? that is about as far apart of choices as you can get. and why in the hell would you even consider VKs, and an LS/Vtec swap? Have you done any real research on any of your choices? and Todas on boost?

Woooow. Those are on complete opposite ends of the spectrum. Go on YouTube and search for VTEC Killers and listen to the idle. Stay away from them unless you're buildling a race car.

Seriously, do some reasearch before you post up the first two brands you hear about. Check out Crower, Skunk2, Blox, etc.. and the differences in the OEM cams (ITR/CTR/GSR). Cams play a huge role in how your engine responds to other mods. RESEARCH.

 

My bad guys i just got into the So Called HONDA scene. the guy and the local shop told me thos to names of cams when i asked him. i told him what i was goin to build and how i was goin to build it. so i guess the guy at the local shop it pretty damn stupid if they are that much diffrent.
