CAMSHAFT replacement
I bought my k20 from a junkyard and am going to rebuild it from the ground up. I see so many different camshafts on the market and the stages they have. If I wanted to go with stage 3 camshafts what would that mean, and what else would I have to replace (ie crankshaft, flywheel)? My goal is to get this puppy to 260 over 2 years. Also, what is a great brand? I know this aint cheap but quality is better anyday over quantity when it comes to motors in my opinion. So lay it on me.

well there are no set stages between companies so you go by the specs not the stage number
and is this daily driven or a track car cuz a stage "3" wont have a very good idle for a DD |
This is going to be a daily driver. What would be best than?

I wouldn't recommend anything above stage 2 for DD. If you do end up going stage 2, I would suggest some upgraded valve springs and retainers.
Also, keep in mind when you do start adding upgrades such as these, you'll need to worry about tuning, which isn't cheap for K series. |
^yea get stage 2 cams, springs, retainers, P&P head, port match intake mani, bigger TB
and idk much about the bottom end if your getting into that so ill let someone else tell you bout that and of course I/H/E and then tune it |
