its gonna be close. are you at sea level or up in the mountains like us up here in colorado at high altitude?
Are you milling the head at all?
Its gonna be a toss up weather you need a good PnP or not to get that goal

I live close to toronto, right near Lake Ontario. Close to sealevelI presume.
I am really considering a P&P, for 1 reason...... why not? I'm justgetting a 100% plan put together first.
How isreliablity with n/aengines overf/i?

its all in the tune man and the quality of the parts you use. Down at sea level it will be way easier to achieve 180whp with those mods maybe even a little more if your tuner is really good. A pnp can really go a long way and really help the top end

Whats the deal with CTR pistons? I read that if you put them on your stock rods, it won't work due to fitment. Do you have to shave them or get new rods? Or do they fit just fine?
But I also heard you could bore the stock pistons 0.020" and get a compression of 12.1:1
I kind of like keeping the pistons stock. Which is better?

your gonna have to add material to a piston if you want to raise compression or get a longer rod. Doing some research it does look like you need to machine your pistons/rods to make the CTR's work. Unless if you looked around people all over are selling rod/ctr pistons that for the b16 that they arnt using anymore
