Civic 03 Lx coupe airbags
 

My car was involved in an accident. Both airbags were deployed. The Honda dealer would charge me thousands of dollars to change both wheel airbag and passenger side airbag. Does anybody know of a cheaper way to get those replaced? Also, if I have to buy each airbag separately, which airbags taken from other models will fit mine?

Shouldn't your insurance cover this? You don't want too mess with airbags, it's too dangerous IMO.

The insurance is not going to cover that.

Then either do it right, or don't do it at all. You don't want that stuff to shoot you in the face in the most unfortunate moment.

usually they will total the car if the airbags go off. was the accident your fault, and you don't have collision?
