Civic Cooling Problem

I have a 1995 Civic and it tends to heat up when stuck in traffic. Runs normal temps otherwise. Any ideas? Changed the fan switch already. Doesn't seem to be loosing any fluid. Was going to try changing the thermostat. Just wanted to see if anyone has any other ideas.

Thanks

Hey
Im guessing that the head gasket is goin. Mine use to be fine and then when i got in traffic it started to heat up then go away. If it keeps doing it then it is prolly the head gasket.

check the fuse for the fan. make sure it is running at some time or another. actually, just throw in another fuse, a long time ago mine burned out down on the side and i didnt notice it, so it ended up doing extensive damage to my engine.

Do both the radiator fan and AC condenser fan come on when you run the AC? Fuse OK? Also I have discovered the OEM thermostats need a change every couple of years, they get "lazy", don't warm up as fast when they're old.

Fuse -------->thermostat --------->radiator would be my steps of solving things
