confused?????
Hello everyone,
I recently tore down my supposed jdm type r motor and was confused by a few part numbers. The first thing i did was take the head off everything was fine their (p-73 00). Then I proceeded to take off the oil pan and the first thing I saw was p-72 on the rod bearing caps, so i started to get pissed. I decided to tear out the whole rotating assembly. The crank is type r ,and the piston rods say "r" and "P-72" on them. Then I noticed the oil squiters(im not sure if that non spec r b-18cs have them to). Finally i was looking around the block and noticed p72 stamped on that to. The block number is b-18c 2202188 If it means anything the head is type r to. I was just wandering what is going on here ? Thanks ahead of time,Matt |
Is their anybody who can answer these questions for me?
