Exclamation crx INJECTORS not priming/spraying

i have a 89 honda crx si. i dropped an other Ls b18a1 swap and it runs perfect. has resistor box with obd1 Ls injectors. has a obd1 dizzy and pr4 ecu. i decided to hard wire my crx to obd1 (no jumper harnesses.) i hard wired the distributor and used my brothers jumper harness to be sure the wiring was done correctly. it started right up, so i went on to the next step.(hard wiring the ecu.) i did research before starting on the hard wire conversion of course.

here is the diagram i used to wire in the obd1 ecu clips

ok, now for the fun part. as far as running, every thing is good. the only problem is my injectors are NOT spraying. the car gets spark. if i spray carb. cleaner in the intake manifold, it will start until it all burns.

the red/black injector wires (12v) are hot. not sure about voltage.

all four grounds to the injectors are in the correct ecu pin#. my resistor box is good and the main relay is good.

it has to be a miss placed wire to a ecu pin#.

what can cause the injectors (only) to not prime?
why aren't the injectors getting the SIGNAL to prime fuel?

thanks!

sorry Im not any help with this...
But are LS injectors Low Impendance?
If they are High they dont need a resistor box.. (i thought they were high..)
But then again idk. lol just trying to make you think with my stupid questions..lol

i'm actually not sure...... they do fine with the resistor box under 17psi of boost on a crx..so in guessing they're low impedance, but then again people do remove the resistor box and run them... theyre obd1 tho. for them to fit in the crx clips, you have to cut out the two corners inside the injector clip. not to sure if theyre low or high impedance.. plus the integras dont have resistor boxes........ ha i dont know. they work 4 both tho

well your CRX came WITH the resistor box from the factory, in order to run the Low Impendance Injectors that it Comes with. right?
Im not so sure, but i dont think an OBD1 LS came with a resistor box, so my guess is that the injectors are HIGH impedance. Therefore you dont need to run a resistor box.

Low Impedance = Resistor box.
High Impedance = NO resistor box.

WAIT. so its turboed? and it runs fine when under 17PSI???
i thought you needed to spray carb cleaner to get it to start...

EDIT.
Peak and hold = Resistor Box
Saturated = Nothing

BTW The injectors that come on the LS have the same flow rating as the ones that came stock on your CRX.
240cc.

1990-91 Integra LS = Peak and Hold = Resistor Box
1992-00 Integra LS= Saturated = Nothing. (no resistor box)

92 - 95 Integras are OBD1.

What this means is that you are running SATURATED INJECTORS. And you SHOULDN'T be running any resistor box with them. And im pretty sure about this. (80% confident on what i just said) lol

Hope this helps...

when the car had the ecu obd0 to obd1 jumper on it, it did fine at 17 psi. yes shes boosted lol whats a Ls with no boost??? the resistor isnt the problem tho. the car ran fine boosted with the resistor box on it. my injectors arent getting the signal to spray from the ecu. if i can by pass the signal just so it runs ide be happy.

would probably look a lot nicer to get rid of the resistor box tho... would go with my wire tuck.... YES THE CAR RAN WITH THE WIRE TUCK COMPLETE.(it stopped running when i hard wired the ecu)

will do. that would mean 12v to the injectors at all time right? and the ground signal is what controls how much the injectors would spray??

Not sure how many volts the injectors use, but yeah the Resistance between the ground from the injectors is what the resistor box changes.
