Cylinder Head Plug Replacement?
Hey there,
B16A2 engine VTEC, DOTC 2000 Honda Civic SI I was downstairs attempting to replace the cylinder head plug as I believe there is some oil coming from it. I already purchased the part, and cleaned everything off, baby powdered it up. All I need to know is: 1) Do I need to take off both camshaft holder plates to get to this or can i take the one off? 2) can i just unbolt the camshaft holder that the plug is on? The Haynes and Helms manual only mention pictures or servicing the whole valve, rockers, etc. All i want to do is replace this plug, but leary I am going to screw something up. http://i13.tinypic.com/7w6dflf.jpg |

you can just take the little cam cap off the plug and it should leave it exsposed
