Default d15b block d16z6 head

I have a d15b block with a d16z6 head.... i recently changed the pistons and order d16z6 pistons... when i put them in they were too big... not inbore but in lenght... so i had to put 3 head gaskets to make them fit.. now they are wearing out and i wanna put the right pistons in... so arent the d15 and d16 pistons sopose to be the same or are this company just screwed up?

was it a stackable headgaket for setting compression?

first off, you don't have a d16z6 block, so a d16z6 piston will not work.

you need to use a compression calculator and figure out which piston you need for your setup, and the goals for your engine. basically you use this calculator to figure out which pistons you need to fit in your engine and give you the desired compression ratio.

stacking 3 headgaskets is retarded. if your pistons didn't fit properly you shouldn't have run the enigne.

and why did you replace the pistons anyway? they usually don't go bad and need to be replaced

yes, you would be better off with a z6 block
