Ok will the d15b work in a 97 civic i have a d16y7 in there and it blown but the guy at the shop said this engine wouldnt work and to buy one from him but i dont if hes trying to get me to buy one or what anyone got any help let me know please

a d15b would work, it will bolt in, but the wiring and such i don't know about. also putting a obd1 engine in a 0bd2 car may be considered smog illegal since the engine is older that the car its going in, but that depends on where you live

 

Thanks man but i live in arizona so i doubt we have some crazy smog rules
