d15b internal question
ok so i'm going to swap out my little old d15b7 for the jdm d15b, but ive been doing some research and only been able to find parts for the d16. so my question is would arp headstuds fit the d15 if they were meant for the d16. also would most of the internals be interchangeable between them or would i need to find specific d15b parts?? any help would be appreciated.:D

RE: d15b internal question
i'm pretty sure that the headstuds are different because ARP's headstuds for the d16s differ so right off the bat you have Z6,Y7,Y8 headsuds that are all different part numbers, what are the odds that you'll pick one of the different 3 and choose the matching one? i'd give the tech line a call i'm pretty sure they have d15 headstuds theyll sell over the phone, worth a try.[&:]

RE: d15b internal question
Well, last turbo kept ac, but becuause this is internally wastegated, it set the turbo back and the intake would not clear the block, so i had to flip the compressor around, so the AC had to go. But, as you can see in the pic, i lost some weight, and now i have all the room in the world to work. Im running a Garrett T3 .42AR

RE: d15b internal question
so did u have to make a shopping list or was it a bolt on kinda deal. also seeing that i want to run a greddy kit. and if i do get the kit would i be able to just change out snails or would i have to get a new turbo manifold .

RE: d15b internal question
I researched a lot about the components, and pieced it together from there. Im not sure what turbo comes with the greddy kit, but i imagine you could just swap out whatever turbo it is with the upgraded version(ex.. if the greddy comes with a T3 .42 AR, you could take it off and buy a T3 .54 AR, you get the idea) BUT, if you want to save some serious cash, youll put the kit together yourself, and not buy the greddy
