d16; obd1 to obd2

Default d16; obd1 to obd2

I have a 96 civic coupe ex. Red. Motor blew up and i got a obd1 d16. will this work and what should i do about the knock sensor and the crank sensor..?

I don't think that you can add on sensors to a computer. The computer is programmed to do one thing so it won't know what to do with any other sensor inputs (i don't even think u can connect them). And one more thing, i don't think you can downgrade from OBDII to OBDI.
