Pistons plus rods will be around $700. That gives you $1300 left, save around $500 more to make it $1800 and invest in a nice turbo setup. Should be good for around 400 to 500whp tuned correctly.

RE: D16
Before I put turbo on it woud i need to buy anything to prepare my engine for it or i wont really hurt it?

RE: D16
Thats what the rod and piston set up is for. This is of course conditional on how many lbs of boost your running. Getting your motor ready to run 10-15 psi is cheaper and easier to get your motor ready to run 25lbs. With some new low compression pistons, forged rods, and some ARP head bolts, you can safely be running 15lbs. Thats not shabby man, 15lbs will give you a nice little rush in our little cars.
Also, (sorry, was day dreaming about 15psi), proper fuel managment obviously. Ok, now your ready to fly. |
