Ok so i blew my d16 so i found a deal on craigslist... its a b18 from 90 integra with a b18.... here the description...


90 Acura integra gs complete car wrecked in front and rear no seats good running b18 120k miles 5spd tranny radiator ecu axles shift linkage great swap for civics crx has factory alloys

Ok guys help me out here... what all am i going to have to go and buy to make this all work... im switching it from a blown d16 to a b18...

b 18 is from a 90 integra
d 16 is out of my 95 civic.

will it work?

your d16's tranny is hyrdo so you will have to convert the b18 to hydro or convert to cable. you might have to get aftermarket mounts but maybe not. im sure someone will chime in..

you could probably find a b18 hydro tranny for about 150 bucks from someone local or try ebay

hey bmx,

scour your local honda sites and see if you can get a newer B18 b1, or c1.

they're worth the extra money and effort.

btw, see if you can also get the entire "front clip" if you can, including tranny, axles and wiring harness.
