Would this make that much of a difference without doing the entire mini me or should you just get the Y7 ported and polished?

a y8 intake manifold would be great in itself, and along with the whole mini me i think theres a gain of like 20 horses, btu just the I/M would give noticable gains or so ive heard. The thing to remember is that if you are going to use your y7's ECU, use an IM/TB from an AUTOMATIC EX, because they have the same type of IACV setup. The manual IM/TB would work too, but you'd need to block off the IACV opening and swap some stuff onto the y7's TB, so just try and go with the auomtic, it'll make htings easier ;)

so if i would swap a Y8 intake mani onto my Y7 i could just use my Y7 tb right? and it would all work?

have seen a couple y7 heads ported with a delta 272 cam will flow about the same as a stock z6 head unmodified.
