so im gonna put in a auto y8 trannie ,is it a st8t drop in or do i have to change somthin else? thx

S20 tranny is the best IMO

The ratios are the same on the S20 and the S40 (from an EX only), with the exception of 2nd gear in which the S40 is slightly lower. Also, the shift forks are steel on the S40 and the 20's are aluminum. S40 > S20.
