Default d16y8 or d16z6 prices

Hey a buddy of mine is about to purchase a 90 civic hatch. I believe the engine is a d15A but I'm not positive. I guess it burns oil real bad and it has 180k miles on it so I am asking around to see what the average prices are on used d16y8 or d16z6 engines. I'd give him my y8 but no money for a swap. Anybody know what they usually go for? And also will they bolt right up and what kind work will be required to put one of these in this civic? Thanks.

make sure to use a transmission out of a 91 crx si as the transmissions on the Y8/Z6 are hyrolic and the car is setup for a cable clutch. Also depending on the trim level of the car it may need a DPFI to MPFI conversion. I would look for a JDM D15B or a Z6. Look to pay $400 to $600
