looking for any real info on swap,they are about same horsepower, poss. make more powerwith d16 head. Eagle sells stroker kit for the d16 but it is about 1500 bucks, I can get a d17 for about 300 bucks[align=right][/align]

Will not work, coolant is ran differently through the blocks. I also advise you to not stroke a D16

just fishing on the d16 and d17 parts, I am a low budget builder, have 94 si with y8 engine 3500 invested including car 125 to the wheels, just trying to get more for cheap have 75 shot nos don't use it much.

contact akmee for a cam package it will put you at about 140 to 145whp and is around $600 I think. Plays nice with spray also.
