Okay. So I'm looking for a d16y8 head. I'm not sure where to look exactly. I've looked on ebay and found a few that have been rebuilt, but I dunno if I should trust them. Anyone have any experience with this?

Another question, I'm buying this for a mini-me swap. I've read countless threads on them, but I still have a question.

All the parts from my d16y7 will work with this head right? I'll be able bolt on this head and wire the new ECU and it will work right?

I know its best to get a tranny and I/M and TB, but I'll have to save up a bit more for that.

 

you can try posting an ad on craigslist. I see y8 headson sale therearound here in Denver every few weeks or so.

 

What can I expect for prices? On e-bay they're all around $350 and thats after being cleaned, fixed, tested and what not. What should I look for if someone is offering used?
