d16y8 v-tec ?

i have the stock d16y8 in my 00 civic ex ....and i was just wondering if it was v-tec or not ? any help would be great

ok kool .......cuz my friends wereare all that ex aint v-tec and all that ...chet lol but ya i was looking at the engine code and under it ..it readv-tec II ....? is it something diffrent ?
