D16Z6 in an EK

I have the opportunity to get a D16Z6 but will it fit into my 97' EK that came with the D16Y8 with NO HARNESS MODIFICATIONS?

You will have to use your y8 dizzy, alternator, and injectors. Keep in mind though that the dizzy for the y8 and z6 are 4.5* off so you will have to get an adjustabe cam gear to compensate.

ps- why do you want to swap a y8 for a z6? I hope you don't have emmisions testing where you are.

Z6 > Y8

I need the motor because the Y8 is making a low end noise even though i just changed my rod and main bearings. I hopefully can get the motor for cheap and rebuild it with some PM7/P29 Pistons. If anyone has a Z6/Y8 that they need to get rid of, let me know.
