D16z6 Timing issue

Hey guys, I just recently bought a 93 hatch with a z6 swap for 300 bucks. haha. Body is a little rough but its rust free and interior is nice. But the timing belt tensioner was kinda loose which scared me. The kid i bought it off of knew nothing about cars and said that he had no more money to put in to it.
I started it and it ran ok, it was idling high though, 3k rpm. But just looking at the timing belt i figure i'll replace it. so I replace water pump timing belt and tensioner, but I can't treally find a good source for timing procedure, the manual is really vague and I want to completey retime this thing. The motor is out right now so its really easy to do but, Does any one know what marks to use and maybe give a little more detailed procedure? Thanks in advance.
