d17 cam in d15
 

can anyone tell me if a D17A1 cam will fit in a D15B7, I know it's a long shot but the D16A6 cam will fit so I figure it's worth a try

nope d17 will not nothing on a d17 will fit any d15 or d16
only d15 and d16 are interchangeable

ACTUALLY, I just learned that a D17 valve cover fits a D16. AND there is a "D17z6" that runs fine on ClubCivic. AND, there's a guy who built a "D18y8" using D17 internals in a D16 block.

^ I just read through the D18, that is insanely cool and awesome lol. He's supercharging it too, in the process of doing it right now.

Actually, he finished the SuperD18 awhile ago...

so, what do you think the most cost effective upgrade would be to my D15B7, a JDM D15 vtec head, a d16a6 cam, or a d16 vtec head?
