Hello everyone,
I am new to Honda's and cars in general. I just bought a 2003 Honda Civic from a friend for dirt cheap (700 bucks) because I needed wheels bad and I had the feeling that the engine is just not in good shape. It runs and everything seems fine but I took it to buddy and they said the engine wouldn't last me too long so I was thinking about swapping it out for another one from the junk. Any tips or tricks I could use to get started? Any books or links of videos or any other forums of any information I could my hands on would be great because I just really need to have a reliable car to get me to work and school.

 

want reliable - swap a good identical one and don't bother.
