Is D17A2 a VTEC-E?

I have an '02 EX. Looking at the motor it just says VTEC, but in the engine code thread it has the motor listed as a VTEC-E. So which is it?

D17A2 1.7L SOHC VTEC-E 01 Civic EX 127hp taken from superhonda.com. Also a little info on VTEC-E in case you don't know here.
