sounds like the start of stage 1 weight reduction, what about carbon fiber or fiberglass hood and fenders? every lb counts in your torque to wt. ratio

HAHA, id have to disagree, i have removed about 150 pounds of sound deadening and such, and i hang with si hatches and crxs with comparable motors. when i had the sohc, i was beating a GSRd crx till the top of second gear. with just an intake, an ex tranny, and the weight reduction.

i disagree, every pound counts, it only takes.001 sec to win or loose against the clock. take the cobra for an example , huge power plant, and they still used cardboard door panels to keep the weight down

YOu should take all the seats out except driver, take all the doors out, take all the hood and trunk lid out, remove your spare tire, take the windhshield washer fluide tank out, and remove the dash but leave the steering wheel.
