Distributor

Distributor
My 95 civic lx broke down Saturday night and the repair place told me I need a new distributor because both the igniter and cam sensor went out. If I purchase the distributor from a parts place, does it automatically include the igniter and cam sensor?
Thank you!

When one of the distributor sensors fails, a CEL code is usually thrown. After your Civic broke down, did the CEL stay ON when the ignition key was turned to ON (II)?
At Majestic Honda (http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/), $240 buys you an entire new distributor (everything).

I assume the engine cranks but won't start. If so, have you checked for spark at all four plugs and whether the fuel pump primes for a couple of seconds when you turn the ignition key to ON (II)?

Yes the engine cranks but won't start. Before she completely broke down, I noticed she was idling weird and the rpm's would fluctuate and run at a higher than normal rate.
I am not sure about the spark at the plugs or the fuel pump as it was towed to a service place that night and they looked at it today and told me that the distributor needed to be replaced because the igniter and cam sensor aren't working. I never got a chance to troubleshoot it myself at all after it broke down.
