DOHC and SOHC???

Whats the difference?

DOHC = Dual overhead cam

SOHC = Single overhead cam

Dual cam vtecs engage the exhaust valves as well as the intake valves on the larger cam lobe at a certain rpm.

zat why ppl say that dohc vtec "kick in" is louder than sohc's?
