dohc top end on d16y8 bottom
I had a buddy tell me he thinks that a DOHC vtech head can fit on a D16Y8 bottom by changing the pistons and crank. Is this possible??

Hold on... a DOHC
Vtec
head, to the bottom of a Y8? That doesnt make sense.
Now if you mean the head of a DOHC to the top of a Y8, no. Its impossible.

You cant not interchange engine series parts for the most part.
DOHC Vtec heads come on B, H, F, and K series your engine is a D series(hence the name
D
16Y8)
