if i get a dohc zc is it a good engine to boost on? also can i but the b16 head on it too get the vtec power?

dude anything is good for boost. Just keep the boost levels reasonable.

 

if u put a zc u gotta go boost...heh...and no b series parts on a d series motor/ visa versa

 

pretty sure a d16z6 head will go on a ZC for vtec

ZC is better than most other D-series motors at handling boost, plus it's DOHC, so you have more control of the timing and cams. I wouldn't recommend trying to do a VTEC headswap on a ZC, since it would be a SOHC conversion. If you're going to do that, you might as well just buy a SOHC ZC (since it's already VTEC)...
