DX mods

Hi all, im a newbie. I have a 2000 civic DX with a D16Y7 engine. The car is completely stock at this point. I would like to beef the car up a bit, and I was wondering if you all could give me advice on what mods to start with. I would like to keep costs as low as I can, since Im a student with not a huge income. I will do all the work myself and with the help of friends. My initial thought is to install a cold air intake, as this seems to be pretty much universal in the racing community. from there im not sure what I will do. ok all please feel free to respond!

headers, intake deffinately. after that maybe a high flow cat or some springs. youd have to stack some cheese for a good exhaust. most people start off with, headers, intake, eshaust, wheels & tires, and some sort of suspension (not exactly in that order) but thats how it ususally starts.

no. should bolt in if it's for your specific vehicle.
