my car got hit and i found a cheap accord for like 400 i want to swap my engine out of the 92 cx hatch into a 89 accord will this work?

B series engines, from accords and integras, bolt into civics. You should be able to take a D series engine from a civic and put it into an accord. I don't know why you'd want to though, that engine would probably produce less power than the stock accord engine, unless you made major mods to your engine or the accord engine has problems. Is the accord a complete car or just a chassis?

 

the engine in he accord is crap im just using it because my hatch is crumpled. the engine in the hatch is a jdm d15 pretty new .
