engine build compression q?

ok, i got a turbo d16, planning on rebuilding the engine now since im boost and if i go with a higher compression will i be making more power at the same level of boost im using?

Usually if you rebuild the engine and want to run a turbo, you want low compression. If you run high compression, you can only run low boost. If you run a low compression, you can run a higher boost. High compression means that the temp/pressure in the cylinders will increase. High Compression = N/A engine, Low Compression = Forced Induction

go for about 9.0-9.5:1. that will give you enough room that a good tuner can get it running well with a decent amount of boost, without it being too low and taking away all of your off-boost power.
