engine cuts at 5-6k

engine cuts at 5-6k
i am having some problems with my 90 integra with 94 gsr no check engine lights but when i hit 5k or 6k i hit some kind of limiter or fuel cut my ecu is chipped though and should goto past 8k i dont know what the problem is
