i got a ef 4 spd with a new tranny. bout to add a 92-95 jdm d series vtec engine. i need to know whats all needed to make this swap successful. like the best ecu and can i used my old harness if i split it.


trying to add the basic bolt-ons before even trying to boost it. also what is the common msd set-up used on civics

I wouldn't do the D15B1 swap. The fact that you're shoving a 5G VTEC engine into a 4G VTEC-less DPFI car is only going to spell lots of extra work. You should look into swapping in a DOHC (non-VTEC) ZC engine. It will literally drop into your car and bolt up to your tranny, etc, so all you need to do is get an 88-89 Integra 5 speed ECU (PG7) and convert the car to MPFI.
