Engine Internals

I'm thinking about doing an engine swap on my 1994 Civic LX Sedan. I want a 1.8L (possibly a B18C5). I'm gonna need a complete swap. Does anyone how much a complete swap, installation, and performance internals will possibly cost. I live in Chicago. TIA

if youre doing a C5, you dont need performance internals. dont plan on any kind of forced induction though. but for a C5, you are looking at somewhere between 4-5 grand for the swap, plus about another $1000 for install and etc parts to make it work.

I want a car that i can have a turbo or a super. So what engine can i swap that is good for induction. Also how much will it run me. And will i need new internals? If so how much?

B18c1. it has a little lower CR, so its good for boost. if you plan on just using it as a daily driver, then a mild turbo setup with stock internals will be perfect. keep the boost below about 6 psi. that should put you at about 240-250 at the crank. thats more than enough for a street car. but a C1 costs around 3k, so its less than the c5, but still not cheap.
