engine management
 
I was looking at some guys integra and he said his first mod was engine management and i really dont have a clue what it is. Ne one help me out?

You won't need a FMU untill you do some mods past IHE. They basically control your fueling to compensate for modifications such as forced induction or major modifications.

feul management and engine management are two different things.

his modding to his integra was in the computer. its really not worth it on an un-modded car. you can change the govenor and your rev-limiter, and you can feed your engine more feul...but tehre are much easier ways to gain more power.

so basically engine management is the computer and fuel management is managing the fuel induction into your engine?
