I was stuck behind a car goin really slow and when he turned I (of course) accelerated. But my car was really was havin trouble going. It sounded like the engine was really struggling to get up to speed. And I wasn't even hitting the gas hard. Then my engine check light started flashing. It shruggled for about 6 seconds before finally getting above 40mph and back to normal. The light is still on ( even though it was off this morning, but came back on when the car did it again). It's been doin it off and on, but only when I try to accelerate from a slow speed. Does any have any idea what it could be?

 

i would change the fuel filter. i had a poniac once that did that. when was the last time you had a tune up done on your car?
