engine problem need help fast

Default engine problem need help fast

when i start my car it cranks but quits when i let go of the ignition. i need this car to make it to work.

little more info would help... what kind of crank? like slow... or.. try the battery.

it cranks up normally but whne i release the ignition the engine dies out and its not the battery. the battery is good i was thinking it might be the main relay or the ignition switch.

Might not help but maybe make sure the battery is tightly clamped on... my car wasnt starting a while ago until I realized my positive had shaken loose from the battery post... worth a look

That happend to me 2 times when i first got my car. positive cable shook loose...

You mean when you let go of the key? Definitely the ignition switch if that's the case. The spring will wear out sometimes.

ignition connector to the inition swith was worn out
we cleaned it and it cranks now.
