I have a 96 civic sedan lx and i am looking to make it fast. all my friends are telling me diffrent engines. right now i am leaning toward either the H22a or the B16 or B18. what would give me the most horsepower and a faster car? or is there a diffrent engine should look into dropping in? plz help thanks for the posts.

 

H22 IMO as far as bang for the buck. More tq than a K20 and as much hp as a B18C5

 

its basically up to you and what you plan on doing in the future. Just do a lot of research

 

define 'better'...

 

i would like to put a turbo on and possibly some nitrous or something i what it to either be made fast or to be fast and cost effective

The H will be a bit harder to get in there, while the B will go in like a glove. But the H has more power and is cheaper. S*** loads of torque in that H also.
