Default Engine Swap

I don't know if it's because I put my question in the wrong area or what, but no one answered the last time. I'd like to put a B18C5 in as a replacement, is a 94' OBDI? Do I need a wire harness change for that engine. Can I stay with OBDI???

All you should need (assuming you can adapt your old harness to work) is a VTEC subharness.

didnt the C5 start in 96-97? as an OBD2? if you get a 94-95 b18c1, it will basically bolt in, youll have like three wires to run.

Ooh, good call. But I think it was actually the C6 from '96-'97, then the C5 (the one everybody calls the "Spec R") from '98-'01.

F**k. I got confused. The C6 is the Euro version of the C5, and the C3 is from the '95-'98 JDM ITR and the '96+ Civic VTi.
