I purchased a new project car last week. It is a 2004 civic 2dr DX (manual trans) I need help with what engine type to install. Will a B16 fit? will a b18 fit? and what other modifications will be mandatory with this swap? I need an engine that will move the car, with possible future installation of a turbo. I want to have more power starting with the engine, but I also do not want an engine that Is going to destroy other parts of the vehicle, due to improper fitament. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...

have fun putting a B into a 7th generation. its only been done a couple of tiems and its hard to find info about the swap. your best bet is a K20A2 or a k20 of some sort. its almost a direct drop in. but it will cost you an arm and a leg. its not cheap to mod these generations.
