Default engine swap

hi im lookin to do an egine swap on my 1989 civic si, nothin to big or tough , maybe a D17 cuz my engine is gettin old and high in miles. but where would i go to buy a full complete engine? or do i have to part it together or wht? also can you buy a new transmission or do you have to rebuild one? and where would i look for tht?

I just went to the local wrecker and grabbed another stock engine/trans. I did clutch and a cat back while I was at it. All depends on how much you wanna spend.
