Engine Swap: 94 DX To Civic VTI Engine
A couple months back i bought a honda civic dx, i like the car but im finding it very slow, and feel a bit left behind when i pull up at the lights and a honda civic jordan or a EK9 pull up next to me.
My mate recently got himself a EK9 and i am feeling that i could do a engine swap from my 1994 DX Engine to a Honda Civic 1.6 Vtech VTI Engine, i want to know if i can put this in my car, plus, what else would i have to change with the the car i know i will have to change brake shoes, and other stuff, but i jsut want to know am i making the right choice deciding to put this type of engine in my car? |
RE: Engine Swap: 94 DX To Civic VTI Engine
Ive recently come across this website where i saw you can order any type of engine from there
https://www.tigerjapanese.com/index.php its a real gd site, some of teh stuff is a bit pricy but you get what you pay for, i saw that i can get a B16A or B18C engine from there for jus about 1450 pounds which is just over 2000 dollas. if any one has any suggestions about how i can fit this engine into my car please let me know which engine would be best, i want a car where i pulling alot of weight under the hood, but for a resonable price as i have a budget |
