I was wanting to know the largest engine that you could possibly fit into an 88 CRX.

 

i have herd of people puting in a f22... kiss your steering goodbye. but i think the biggest recomended one is the b18

 

Yeah, I wouldnt do anything larger than a B18. With the H22 Im afraid there would be weight issues that just would make it more trouble than its worth. Look into a JDM B16A SiR I, its OBD0, so it should be an easy swap.

 

an h22 can fit it is tight but it can handle just as well as a b series swap. www.hasport.com
